Dictionary Definition: The introduction or use of new words or new senses of existing word. 

In my own words: A new word(s) to use in a new sentence or phase to expand your vocabulary.

2 familiar synonyms: Slang, new phrase.

Using it in an original sentence: While reading a book, the author said a neologism word that I have personally never heard.
